This rear subframe front anterior bushing (part number 1188551) is an OEM-matching suspension component for 2017–2023 Tesla Model 3 and 2020–2023 Model Y (all variants: RWD/AWD/Performance). As a left/right universal part, it installs at the rear subframe’s front connection point, linking the subframe (integrating rear suspension, motor, and driveshaft) to the vehicle body—aligning with Tesla’s original suspension geometry and NVH standards.

Its core roles are threefold: First, subframe positioning—it locks the rear subframe in factory-calibrated position, preventing displacement from bumps or torque changes, which maintains rear wheel alignment (toe/camber) and avoids uneven tire wear or braking lag. Clean the mounting hole, apply OEM rubber lubricant to the new bushing’s outer ring, then press it into place.
